I hope you had a great Thanksgiving- this month has absolutely flown by! I can’t believe it will be December in just a few days! We spent the last week enjoying time with family and friends who were visiting for the holiday and also savoring our last few days of Mathew’s paternity leave.
Our little baby is three weeks old, and I’ve still got a few more maternity looks to share on the blog. 🙂 This cream sweater was a favorite of mine towards the end of my third trimester as the weather began to cool. I also wore it in this post.
I liked layering with a jacket, not only for added warmth, but also it makes this look feel like more of a complete outfit. At the end of pregnancy, feeling put together is kind of a big deal. When I was just feeling kind of large and not super adorable, it helped to feel like I had a cute outfit at least.
It’s funny now to look at these pictures of myself. I may not look like my pre-pregnancy self again yet, but that big belly is long gone. Sometimes I look down at little Benjamin’s sweet face and wonder how he ever fit inside.
