Floral Joggers – Repeat Outfit Offender

floral joggers - maternity styleReal life involves wearing my favorite pieces over and over again. So, I know you’ve seen each of the pieces in today’s post before, but I’ve remixed them for a simple outfit that I’ve been wearing again and again lately.

Black Skinny Jeans + The Softest Tie Back Tee

casual maternity styleAs I inch further along into my pregnancy, comfort has become increasingly important when choosing wardrobe pieces. While comfort and function are gaining leverage, form must not be forgotten either. There’s nothing worse than feeling a little awkward adjusting to a growing belly and changing body and adding in having clothes that I don’t feel good about. Okay, there are worse things in life, but when it comes to clothing, this one is pretty bad.

I bought these maternity jeans (worn in this post) from Gap at the end of my first trimester, and I’ve worn them so much. They’re my only pair of denim that isn’t cropped. So, you can imagine when I say I’ve worn them so much how much I’ve actually been wearing them. 🙂

Casual Chinos + White Sneakers

casual maternity styleYou guys. Tomorrow I’ll be 25 weeks pregnant. I can hardly believe how quickly time is going. It’s August, and I’ll be turning 29 and having a baby all within the next few months. I can hardly believe it. Does time pass by this quickly for everybody else too? Please tell me yes.

I’ve invested in a few other maternity pieces I’m hoping will carry me through to fall, and these green chinos from gap are one of those pieces. They’re maternity pants with an inset panel, which I love. (You can read my post about maternity clothes and the different waist options here.) If you’re not a fan of the inset style, no worries – they come in a demi panel, full panel, and also non-maternity and each style comes in multiple colors. Read More

Black Midi Dress + Fall Transition

black midi dress - maternity styleCan you believe it’s the last day of July? Summer is flying by! Soon it will be time for fall layers, which I absolutely love. Not that I’m rushing the end of summer. August is a wonderful month, and September usually has great weather too. 🙂

Today I’m sharing one of my favorite looks. Black and denim are so classic together, and I’ve gotten so much use out of this midi dress from Gap. It’s non-maternity and I also have it in a blue and white striped print last worn here. Read More

Casual Weekends + My Latest Favorite Outfit

Maternity OverallsHappy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend.

On Friday night we went to a free neighborhood concert with some of our neighbor friends and hosted a bonfire afterwards. So fun- even though it did sprinkle rain a little bit.

We spent a gloomy Saturday inside building furniture for baby Crawley’s nursery. It was the perfect activity for a cloudy day. The room we’re using is on the smaller side, so I was relieved that everything fits how I hoped it would! I took a nap in the afternoon, then we had a date night to see Dunkirk at the movies.

Sunday we slept in, got a few more things done around the house, I did some blog work, we ate dinner at my in-laws, then went to church in the evening. It was a great weekend. Read More
