I bought this maritime striped dress this past spring when it was on sale (go figure) at J.Crew Factory. I also have this dress in red and navy (and wore it last year) but sized up in this navy and white stripe to fit me this summer.
There’s not much that’s more classic than a striped dress. I love this modern t-shirt dress with stripes from Gap, but this maritime striped dress form J.Crew has a much more classic and preppy feel to it.
Shorts are definitely not my favorite thing to wear in the summer, so if I’m going to invest in a pair, they’ve got to be really cute. Tell me I’m not the only one?
I saw these chambray scalloped shorts at LOFT and thought they were adorable. When I clicked to order them, they were out of my size. A few weeks later (during a sale) they had been restocked, so I quickly added them to my cart. Read More
Happy Wednesday! I’ve got a little hump-day-bump-day update for you guys today. 🙂 Also, I’m talking about my favorite summer dress so far. I have this dress in black and this blue and white striped print and I’ve absolutely loved wearing it so far this summer!
Happy Monday! I hope you had a great 4th of July. We had such fun celebrating with family and friends and I enjoyed the week off from blogging. I’ve been feeling pretty good lately, and I’ve taken the opportunity to get a lot of things done around the house. We’ve kicked it into high gear here and we’re working on finishing up some projects before the end of summer and Baby Crawley‘s arrival.
We had our anatomy ultrasound the other week and we found out the gender! We told our parents over dessert the Friday before 4th of July and told all our siblings on the 4th at our celebration party. We didn’t do a gender reveal per say, but we enjoyed telling everyone in person. I think I’ll share in Wednesdays blog post, so stay tuned if you’re curious.
If you have kiddos, did you find out the sex before baby arrived, or did you wait? How did you tell family and friends? If you have any guesses as to what we’re having, drop your guess in the comments! It’s been fun hearing what everyone thinks before telling. I truly had no idea one way or the other. I know some moms have a ‘feeling’ beforehand, but I really didn’t.
Anyways, I want to talk a little bit about this chambray tunic. I bought it several weeks ago and I sized up to a medium to accommodate a baby bump, and I’m happy to report it still fits well. Read More
It seems like I ordered these overalls forever ago. They belonged to the first haul of maternity clothes I ordered and I tried them on with my mom. We both really liked them, but it took a while for my belly to fit into the waist! H&M currently has them in a lighter wash, perfect for summer, and also a destroyed denim pair in non-maternity, which are super cute!
The last time I wore overalls was probably in the 90’s.
