Benjamin was a little champ the whole time, and I finally feel like we’re getting back into the swing of regular naps. Motherhood so far seems like a continuous on and off relationship with nap schedules. ha!

Anyway, I’m getting back to basics today. I would use words like “easy” and “casual” to describe my style lately. Staying home with a baby (I first typed ‘newborn’ but then made a revision because my newborn all of a sudden turned into a big four-month old!) doesn’t require any fancy uniform, and let’s be honest- jeans fit best out of everything from my pre-pregnancy wardrobe. Happy Tuesday! We’ve been staying cozy so far this week after the drop in temperature. This past weekend was so gorgeous- sunshine and temps in the 40’s! It felt like we were living someplace other than West Michigan!

We took the opportunity to get outside and go for a couple walks and also shoot some photos. I can’t tell you how many times last winter I wanted to get out and shoot or we even did go and take photos, but they turned out looking so depressing because of the blue overtone from cloudy skies and cold weather. This winter has been a breath of fresh air after last year’s winter. Read More
