Valentine’s Day is not necessarily a special holiday that’s close to my heart, although I do enjoy the opportunity to celebrate. Before I met Mathew, Valentine’s Day was a fun holiday to wear pink and red, and share little notes and candy with friends. When Mathew and I were dating, Valentine’s Day was a fun excuse to celebrate our love and buy each other cards and chocolate.
Now that we’re married, we celebrate our love and our marriage in different little ways every day. Valentine’s Day hasn’t become any more special. Sometimes we celebrate with a date night out, and other years we stay in. Read More
It’s hard to believe Valentine’s Day is already next week! I’m not super into holidays (other than Christmas!) but I do think life is worth celebrating, and Valentine’s Day is just another opportunity to celebrate life. It doesn’t matter if you’re single, dating or married- there’s something for everyone to love about Valentine’s. It just depends on your perspective.
Christmas is my most favorite holiday. ♥ I love the advent season, and all the celebrations and traditions that come along with it. Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to recount blessings, and it fills and fuels my heart for the rest of the year. We’re officially in the Advent season. Christmas is my favorite time of year, as I’m sure you’ll hear me repeat over the coming weeks. There are many ways in which I enjoy getting into the holiday spirit, including baking, sipping hot chocolate and listening to Christmas music. I also like dressing for the holiday season.
