It’s definitely been feeling like summer in West Michigan! Over the weekend the temperature was reaching the 90’s, and it’s been in the 80’s since then this week. I watered our garden for a little bit yesterday and was starting to sweat! On hot days, my mind always drifts to ice cream. Now, while I have been indulging my ice cream craving a bit more than usual lately (you know, being pregnant and all), I certainly can’t afford to eat ice cream every day.

That’s where nice cream comes in! Have you heard of it? Read More
Cheers to Friday and to Memorial Day weekend! If you didn’t catch Wednesday’s post, you can read it here. I’m saying goodbye to a boozy summer and so I’ve turned to the world of mocktails for the time being. 😉 Today I’m sharing a fun and easy recipe for a Raspberry Lemonade Mocktail. It can also be made with alcohol if that’s your cup of tea.
Living in West Michigan during winter can get cold. I don’t do well in the cold. I need cozy and warm. Some of the things keeping me warm this winter include these adorable Old Navy jammies, my cozy throw blanket, a heated mattress cover, and warm mugs of hot chocolate.
I’ve always been a long pants and long sleeve pajama-wearer in the winter. My favorite pj pants continue to be leggings and joggers because they’re fitted at the ankle and don’t bunch up when I move around in the night. These pajamas are super cute and cozy for the holidays, and I love that the thermal leggings are fitted. Read More
Happy Friday! Is it too early for a drink? 😉 Not if it’s a mimosa! Today I’m sharing the perfect holiday cocktail. If you’re looking for something easy, festive, seasonal, and bubbly- this drink is for you! Plus, if you decide to make the Butternut Squash Apple Cranberry Bake I shared earlier this week you can use the leftover cranberries in this cocktail. Waste not want not, right?
Most of us can use a little something extra around the holidays. Thanksgiving is next week, and while it’s supposed to be a time to reflect on our blessings, the good things can sometimes be overshadowed with the negative. What time is dinner? Who’s bringing the stuffing? Will Aunt Betsy be late again and hold up the entire meal? Who will say the blessing? What time does the Target sale start? Has anyone seen the Best Buy ad? What time are we getting up in the morning? Did you forget the whipped cream? Where’s the baby?! Read More
