You guys. Tomorrow I’ll be 25 weeks pregnant. I can hardly believe how quickly time is going. It’s August, and I’ll be turning 29 and having a baby all within the next few months. I can hardly believe it. Does time pass by this quickly for everybody else too? Please tell me yes.
I’ve invested in a few other maternity pieces I’m hoping will carry me through to fall, and these green chinos from gap are one of those pieces. They’re maternity pants with an inset panel, which I love. (You can read my post about maternity clothes and the different waist options here.) If you’re not a fan of the inset style, no worries – they come in a demi panel, full panel, and also non-maternity and each style comes in multiple colors.
My pants and tee are both maternity, but I’ve linked non-maternity styles below and this is an outfit anyone can wear.
Chinos are so versatile, and I love this green color as we get closer to autumn. I’ve paired them with my favorite white sneakers and straw tote for a casual look.
It’s nice to mix up my denim sometimes, and chinos are great because they can easily be dressed up or down.

Do you own a pair of chinos? I think the khaki chinos give the rest of them a bad name. 😉 Do you have any fun colored pants you love to style? What’s your go-to for when you like to mix up your bottoms with something other than denim?
