Admittedly, I’ve had a pretty easy pregnancy so far. There has been no morning sickness, no insane cravings, I’ve been getting decent sleep, and my hormones haven’t set off a World War.
While pregnancy hasn’t been miserable, it also hasn’t been a cake walk. The second trimester has brought lots of body changes that have been difficult to cope with. Adding an extra 10-15 pounds of body weight is about as fun as it sounds. Today I’m sharing some must-haves that have been helping me make the most of this phase in my pregnancy. Read More →
I’m so excited to share this space with you guys today. I’ve been wanting to redecorate our office since the end of last year, and was finally able to make some changes this past weekend. I’m not exactly sure why I put it off for so long, but I was prompted to finally dive in after receiving an amazing print of the city of Grand Rapids from an artist.
I wanted to use the print for our office, but I also wanted to have a nice backdrop for photos, and the old space just wasn’t cutting it. Read More →
Real life involves wearing my favorite pieces over and over again. So, I know you’ve seen each of the pieces in today’s post before, but I’ve remixed them for a simple outfit that I’ve been wearing again and again lately.

I bought these maternity jeans (worn in this post) from Gap at the end of my first trimester, and I’ve worn them so much. They’re my only pair of denim that isn’t cropped. So, you can imagine when I say I’ve worn them so much how much I’ve actually been wearing them. 🙂
I found a similar pair from Gap in black denim, and with fall around the corner and my limited wardrobe starting to feel a little repetitive, I decided to order these. Read More →
You guys. Tomorrow I’ll be 25 weeks pregnant. I can hardly believe how quickly time is going. It’s August, and I’ll be turning 29 and having a baby all within the next few months. I can hardly believe it. Does time pass by this quickly for everybody else too? Please tell me yes.
I’ve invested in a few other maternity pieces I’m hoping will carry me through to fall, and these green chinos from gap are one of those pieces. They’re maternity pants with an inset panel, which I love. (You can read my post about maternity clothes and the different waist options here.) If you’re not a fan of the inset style, no worries – they come in a demi panel, full panel, and also non-maternity and each style comes in multiple colors. Read More →
